i’m making it a goal of mine to blog as many weddings as i can this year! so here it goes.
i met lindsey and sangku literal days before their wedding - obviously we had spoken before this, and they had booked many months in advance, but we met in person at a starbucks mere days before their wedding. they’re from san Francisco but were having a wedding where i live in atlanta. family was flying in all the way from korea. needless to say, this couple’s main focus was spending as much time with their guests as possible.
their dedication to their family and friends, to me, is the most special part of sangku and lindsey’s love. the way in which they celebrated, honored, and served their loved ones speaks volumes of how they celebrate, honor, and serve each other. this day went so smoothly, so beautifully, with some happy tears shed by my team for sure. (peek at the moment during the ceremony when the couple spoke sans mic to their parents, making promises to them as well as each other. it was such a special moment.) the sappy moments were followed by a whole lot of fun, complete with a surprise choreographed bride + groom dance, a “gangnam style” dance dominated by the mothers, and some kids going absolute nuts over “baby shark”. all in all, an amazing day. and it can’t hurt that they might be the most attractive couple of all time.
thank you, lindsey and sangku, for having me! your generosity and gentleness don’t go unnoticed.
