los angeles film photographer

gabbie burseth grew up documenting everything and saving mementos in empty christmas boxes. after studying at the grady school of journalism at the university of georgia, she discovered an affinity for weddings and their accompanying treasures.

her philosophy as a wedding photographer is to observe with as little interference as possible — no faking it, no do-overs, no “for the camera”. her biggest desire is for couples to be present at their wedding, not stuck in a photoshoot. her work is punctuated by rich and vibrant color, the timeless quality of analog film, and a sense of humor found in fleeting moments.

gabbie lives in sunny santa monica, california and spends her time doing puzzles, both of the jigsaw and crossword varieties.
